I am a Professor of Cognitive Psychology at the University of Cyprus and the Pillar Leader of Human Factors and Design at RISE Nicosia. In 2015, I co-founded Silversky3D VRT Ltd, a startup that focuses on the development of content and applications for Virtual Reality.

To undertake world-class research within Interactive media, Smart systems and Emerging technologies in order to drive innovation across multiple industrial sectors creating social and economic benefit. In RISE’s approach this will move beyond research driven purely by technical challenges and consider the central role of humans within technology development, deployment and adoption along with the societal challenges and impact of technology innovation. Diverse yet complementary expertise will ensure a multidisciplinary approach to research with outcomes informed through “In the wild” deployment that will emphasize an “Inspired by Humans, Designed for Humans” philosophy.
