Nikos Frangakis holds an M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) on 2004. His main interests consist of the technologies of Virtual and Augmented Reality and their various applications in different domains, like Cultural Heritage, Ergonomics, Training and Remote Support . He has been successfully involved in many European projects dealing with VR, including the INTUITION NoE, VR-Hyperspace, ManuVAR, Use it Wisely, PASSME, Edcar. He is currently managing PLUGGY, dealing with participative cultural heritage through a dedicated social media platform and HYPERION, dealing with developing resilience, risk control and sustainable reconstruction for cultural heritage sites.
