Francesco Adolfo Danza is an ICT entrepreneur and serial start-upper, co-founder and chairman of the board since 1993 of Digital Video (www.digitalvideo.eu.com), co-founder of Dromic (www.dromic.net) and co-founder of Digital Media Technologies (www.dmtech.eu.com). He combines a solid scientific and technical background with skills and competences in technology transfer and business creation to convey research into products. Digital Video entered since 1981 in computer graphics arena, developing and selling products for 2D animation, for Media Assets and Workflow Management . The 2D professional animation suite is composed by Toonz (www.toonz.com), Linetest and Story Planner. The Tab (www.the-tab.com) consumer prosumer product-line includes also TAB Kids and TAB Manga, in order to enable kids and youngsters to easily create animations and cartoons. Since 2016 also an open source version of Toonz is available at (https://opentoonz.github.io/e/index.html). Media Assets and Workflow Management for Broadcast and Cinema industries business is developed through the dedicated start-up DMtech (www.dmtech.eu.com). Move over Dromic (www.dromic.net) start-up has been created to manage the homonymous breakthrough multi-dimensional visualization toolkit for Big Data analytics and IoT (Internet of Things) application and provide related design and development services to and-user and system integrators.
