The Immersive Lab is a research center of AP University College Antwerp (Belgium) that centralizes the expertise about immersive technologies (virtual, augmented and mixed reality, omnidirectional video, 3D scanning, hologram) and shares it with students, researchers, companies and non-profit organizations. Now that the first hype is gradually over and technology is evolving at breakneck speed and is available to producers and consumers, the obvious applications have found their way to the market.rnrnThis Immersive Lab is equipped with the latest technologies in the field of Extended Reality (fotogrammetry studio: 3D full body scan, 3D scanners, immersive cube, greenkey studio, mocap suits, 360° camera's, VR audio recorders, cleanbox, etc.). It will be the first lab and knowledge center of its kind in the region. There are still many unused and unknown possibilities in the field of VR/AR, and the researchers of this Immersive Lab want to play a pioneering role in this.
