Helsinki XR Center is a cultural R&D hub and incubator for realisation of X realities. Operated by Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and FIVR. We research XR and offer workspaces and equipment for XR companies, teams and freelancers, consultation for utiliser organisations, showroom for Finnish XR solutions, events, networking, mentoring. rnrnFIVR, the Finnish Virtual Reality Association is supporting companies, artists and freelancers with workspaces, equipment, mentoring, events and networking in all things XR. The association has organised non-profit support activity in Finland since 2016, with four XR hackerspaces. Latest and greatest being Helsinki XR Center, founded in January 2019. We are 1026 members strong in 2021.
