When I was a child, my parents decided to set up a video-games arcade -- as a result, I grew up surrounded by games (and gamers!). Predictably, my career focuses on the production of digital/interactive media. My relationship with VR, which started in the late 90's when working at SEGA, has intensified over the past years. I see XR as one of the key revolutionary medium of our time.
The 13th ACM SIGGRAPH Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques in Asia will take place in a fully virtual format this year. The annual event, which rotates around the Asian region on normal circumstances, attracts the most respected technical and creative people from all over the world who are excited by research, science, art, animation, gaming, interactivity, education and emerging technologies. With the event going virtual this year, more from our global community will be able to come together and participate in new and innovative ways and drive forward the forefront of our field.
