Jessica Dominguez is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Chemical Engineering Department at KU Leuven as part of the CHARMING project. She focuses her research on understanding if AR can improve the way students learn abstract concepts. She envisions the laboratories of the future aided with immersive experiences that emulate the reality of experimenting reinforcing the theoretical knowledge. She is currently working on developing an AR lab application for technical chemistry.
