He is the founding organizer of the International Conference on Stereo & Immersive Media: Photography, Sound and Cinema Research, and is the principal editor of the corresponding scientific journal. He coordinates the Early Visual Media Lab and scientific research projects on stereoscopic photography and new media. He is currently curating the Catalogue Raisonné of Carlos Relvas’s Stereoscopic Photography, the Portuguese most renowned 19th-century photographer.
