Mauricio Alvarez-Mesa is the CEO and co-founder of Spin Digita. Mauricio holds a PhD degree in Computing Engineering from Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Spain. He has more than 15 years of experience in the fields of video compression and high-performance computing, and has published several papers and a book on these fields. He has worked as a researcher for several institutions such as UPC in Barcelona, IBM in Haifa, Fraunhofer HHI in Berlin, and the TU Berlin.
