Jose Saldana

Dr Jose Saldana is Senior Researcher, Aragon Institute of Engineering Research. He was the leader of the WP3 of the H2020 Wi-5 project (G.A. No 644262). His research interests focus on Quality of Service in Real-time Multimedia Services, as VoIP and networked online games, traffic optimisation and resource management in Wireless LANs. He has published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He also published RFC7962 in the IETF.

UNIZAR has participated in more than 400 EC Framework Programme Projects (150 of them as coordinator).rnUNIZAR's CENIT group, within the I3A (Aragon Institute of Engineering Research) is involved in teaching Telecommunications Engineering and Computer Science at the Higher Engineering and Architecture School (EINA), and in doctoral university programs. The main interests of the research are the evaluation of multimedia systems, traffic optimisation techniques and methodologies for estimating perceived quality (QoE) from network parameters.rnThe CENIT group has participated in several previous European projects (H2020 Wi-5, EUWB, PULSERS Phase 2) and in Spanish Ministry ones.
