Mikel Zorrilla is head of the Department of Digital Media, Vicomtech. He received his Telecommunication Engineering degree (2007) from Mondragon Unibertsitatea and an advanced degree in Computer Science (2012) from UPV/EHU University of Basque Country. He leads, designs and develops projects within the Interactive Media, Immersive Media andrnMedia Distribution Technologies field. Previously he has held positions at Ikerlan S. Coop. as an assistant researcher (2002-2006) in the field of Transport of Multimedia Traffic.rnMikel Zorrilla is also an Associate Professor in UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya) in the field of Multimedia Applications and Media Technologies.
