Michael created in the last 15 years award winning documentaries, comedies, fiction-films, web-docu, AR- and VR Experiences, 360° films and games, that were invited to A-festivals, sold to HBO and Netflix. Michael got awards at Hackathons, lectures, speaks at conferences like at Berlin Film Festival Coproduction Market, Festival de Cannes NEXT, Gamescom, SilkRoadIFF Xian, mipTV, AWE and GDC San Francisco. He is published author, former Berlinale Talent Campus Expert and film jury member.

Actrio Studio

Actrio Studio was founded by Michael Geidel, an award winning film and interactive producer since 1999. He graduated as media economist, is a trained journalist, technologist and serial entrepreneur. He started at KirchGroup’s International Co-Production Dept., worked on US Commercials for e.g. Warner Kids out of Toronto, at the broadcaster ZDF as well as for the EU in Brussels. He worked for leading German Indie powerhouse Kinowelt (now Studiocanal), then joined German film and TV university in Potsdam-Babelsberg as Crossmedia concepter and analyst and collaborated with the British Film Institute, BAFTA, E.B.U., French Ecoprod, the Producers Guild of America, Sony and others. He is alumni of EAVE, Eurodoc, the Multi Platform Business School and PttP's The Pixel Lab.
