The 'Weed Whacker' is Odd.Bot’s first robotic solution. It stands for smart & sustainable weeding for farmlands. We developer an image recognition engine to recoginize both weeds and crops. This to properly destinguish the two two. We now have started to use artificially generated training data to make the algorithm more robust.rnrnFor the Odd.Bot Weed Whacker we now would like to train the control policy in a simulation and transfer this onto the physical robot after training. To enable this approach we have made and accurate model of the (delta) robot arm to be used in a physics engine like MuJoCo. As this is quite early stage we look for partners that can help us with both; generating artificial training data and this transfer learning.
